DAY 01. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Fisherman’s Cove, Covelong – 2 nights. 

Built on the ramparts of an old Dutch Fort and set amidst whispering casuarinas and palm trees, this beach hotel is within easy reach of Chennai, Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram.  The hotel has well appointed rooms, good food and beautiful views. 

DAY 02

You will be met and escorted on a private sightseeing tour of Mahabillipuram.

DAY 03

You will be transferred to the train station early in the morning to get the train over the Deccan Plateau to Mysore.

Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 04

You will be taken on a private sightseeing tour of Mysore.

You will be transferred to your homestay in the Western Ghats.

Tranquil, Sultan’s Battery – 2 nights. A charming homestay property high up in the Western Ghats mountain range.

DAY 06 You will be taken on a private sightseeing tour of the local area or you can explore on your own at leisure.

DAY 07

You will be transferred to Neeleshwar Hermitage in Northern Kerala.

DAY 11

You will be transferred to the airport for your flight home (arrive back in UK same day)

Entry requirements

All UK passport holders and most other nationalities require a visa for India which is obtainable in advance from your nearest embassy. Typically 6 month multiple entry visas are usually sufficient. No vaccinations are mandatory for entry, however it is advisable to a be protected against TB, polio, typhoid, tetanus and hepatitus A and to take malaria prophylactics. Above all, it is essential to consult your GP about your individual requirements as soon as possible before traveling.
